Maverick family lawyer. Graduated from Leeds University in 1980 with a degree in Theology. Taught English at Senior Schools in London and Oxford before raising three cavemen single-handedly whilst working at a local Firm of Solicitors and studying the CPE and LPC, gaining a Distinction at Law School. Notable cases include Re F [2008] EWCA Civ 439 and Re A [2010] EWCA Civ 743. Moments of madness have included white-water rafting, mountain-biking, kayaking and diving. Barbara is a Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, Resolution and the Association of Lawyers for Children. She also sits on the Local Family Justice Board.
